![]() Boarders of Hinata Boardoms
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Friday, March 10, 2006 INSERT TITLE: I'm falling apart After all the hardwork, I'm starting to realize that I'm not fit to study in Toudai. I'm beginning to doubt everything around me. Becoming manager of the inn, Narusegawa, the promise and even why I'm in this world; am I worthy of such precious moments? I failed my College Algebra and Trigonometry exam today. Well, my paper hasn't been checked yet, but I can tell. I left half of my paper blank. Moreover, I am very unsure to my answers for the remaining questions. It's a clear sign of failure. It's a clear image of me. "Isn't it a little too early to tell, Keitaro?" are my assumptions too soon to tell?Even I can't answer that question. Nobody can. Even if somebody would walk through my room and read this, he / she won't help me. AND even if such a thing may happen, I prefer not to let somebody help me this time. It's now or never for me. Apparently, "never" is on the upper hand. "I am basing my opinion on the things I'm seeing." even if these facts behold before my eyes, it's hard to swallow and accept them.I am slowly falling apart. I can feel myself crumbling, bit by bit. It's only a manner of time, before I slit my hand.

KEI'S PROFILE
![]() After failing the entrance exams twice and becoming a second-year ronin, he is kicked out of home by his cheap parents, and goes to his grandmother's hotel, thinking he might be able to stay there. However, he finds out the hard way that his grandmother has turned the hotel into an all-girls dormitory. Through a combination of bad luck and timing, he encounters Naru Narusegawa in the open-air hot springs bath and infuriates her. He then proceeds to land on the bad side of the other dorm residents, before Haruka arrives and metaphorically bails him out. Ultimately he does end up staying at the Hinata House, though the reason and timing varies slightly between the anime and the manga. Keitaro takes promises seriously, and it seems that he made a number of important ones during his childhood. First and foremost was his promise of 15 years ago (age 5) with a little girl he barely remembers that they would get into Tokyo University together one day.
