![]() Boarders of Hinata Boardoms
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Friday, July 22, 2011 INSERT TITLE: way too early for what? Kana-chan's been extra clingy lately. Doesn't she get tired of hanging around with me? While I went out to buy some fruits, Kanako tagged along. I went back to the apartment and noticed my hair; I need a haircut. And then Kanako insisted that she'd come along too. I told her that she'd get bored waiting for me, but Kana-chan didn't say that she would get bored. After getting my haircut, I went to Toudai to consult my professor about writing his biography, and Kana-chan tugged my shirt as we walked to campus. The transit line was packed and Kana-chan looked really uncomfortable with all the crowd. I tried to lean in front of her so people wouldn't crowd her. When we reached my professor's office, I told her to wait for me outside. I talked to professor and gave him an update about my progress; I showed him my work. He was pleased and then I left. But I couldn't find Kana-chan in the hallway. "Kanako!" I searched outside and I saw her looking at the garden. "Nii-sama. The flowers here look great." she says. "Yeah. Let's go." As we got off yet another packed train, we passed by a flower shop. I didn't mind it, but Kanako was so engrossed. Without saying any word, her face told me what it meant. "Excuse me, ma'am." I asked the owner. "Can I have a bundle, please?" and then she hands me these colorful flowers. I didn't know the names of the flowers. "Can you plant them too?" I asked just in case. "Most definitely." I gave them to Kanako. She was so quiet while we walked home. Did I do a bad move? When we arrived in the apartments. "Nii-sama. It's way too early for it." "Huh?" then she leaned on me and kissed me on the cheek.

KEI'S PROFILE
![]() After failing the entrance exams twice and becoming a second-year ronin, he is kicked out of home by his cheap parents, and goes to his grandmother's hotel, thinking he might be able to stay there. However, he finds out the hard way that his grandmother has turned the hotel into an all-girls dormitory. Through a combination of bad luck and timing, he encounters Naru Narusegawa in the open-air hot springs bath and infuriates her. He then proceeds to land on the bad side of the other dorm residents, before Haruka arrives and metaphorically bails him out. Ultimately he does end up staying at the Hinata House, though the reason and timing varies slightly between the anime and the manga. Keitaro takes promises seriously, and it seems that he made a number of important ones during his childhood. First and foremost was his promise of 15 years ago (age 5) with a little girl he barely remembers that they would get into Tokyo University together one day.
