![]() Boarders of Hinata Boardoms
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Friday, March 02, 2012 I've talked to everybody in Hinata Sou. I've even have a meaningful talk to Haruka-neesan. She's just as surprised at me. I've told everybody my plan. I asked them what they think about it, what they want to do, and any suggestions I could consider. I bore in mind what Haruka-neesan asked what an adult would do and my answer resonated in my mind about making sacrifices. It's simple, I don't want anybody leaving, because of the sudden unfair increase. Also when I talked to Haruka-neesan, I asked her if they could add something to their menu to make more money. She just nodded at me that they've already been trying that from the start. She just gave me a pat on the shoulder and said that I'll be fine. What does that mean? While I asked for each individual's opinion, I knew it was going to happen. Shinobu-chan said that she'll try and make the money. I asked her how. And she replied that she'll take up part-time jobs in the town. I don't know if her high school permits it, but I asked her again what she wants to do. I gripped my hand firm when she answered. "I don't want to leave, Keitaro-senpai." she looked away and wiped what seemed to be a tear. "I don't know where else I could stay. I don't know how to face or talk to my mom or dad. It's like my whole life is going to change again. And it won't be as lively as now. Is it selfish for me to say that I want to stay here?" Motoko-san also said that she wants to stay. However, her parents think otherwise. If the rent increase is pushed through. Professor Seta was also surprised when he heard of the news from Sara-chan. I don't know if Sara-chan would be staying after I called Seta-sensei. I suggested that she could share the room with Kaolla-chan. I also suggested to the other people that they could share a room and share the burden of the cost. But it's silly, these rooms are big enough for one person. It's like we're purposely holding back the fullest accommodation of the apartments. Kitsune-san and Narusegawa can make their payments, but they're not happy like me. I'm almost finished with my letter to grandma. I want her to see and hear what everybody thinks about the rent increase. It's a silly topic, if you ask me.

KEI'S PROFILE
![]() After failing the entrance exams twice and becoming a second-year ronin, he is kicked out of home by his cheap parents, and goes to his grandmother's hotel, thinking he might be able to stay there. However, he finds out the hard way that his grandmother has turned the hotel into an all-girls dormitory. Through a combination of bad luck and timing, he encounters Naru Narusegawa in the open-air hot springs bath and infuriates her. He then proceeds to land on the bad side of the other dorm residents, before Haruka arrives and metaphorically bails him out. Ultimately he does end up staying at the Hinata House, though the reason and timing varies slightly between the anime and the manga. Keitaro takes promises seriously, and it seems that he made a number of important ones during his childhood. First and foremost was his promise of 15 years ago (age 5) with a little girl he barely remembers that they would get into Tokyo University together one day.
