Friday, April 30, 2010 I'm back. We're back from Seta-san's overseas field digging. I passed by the house before going straight to Hinata Sou. Mom and Dad are still well... Mom and Dad. I filled my stomach before heading to Hinata Sou. I told mom and dad I'd be back. "Kana-chan has been calling here too. She's looking for you." mom said. "Wait, don't forget to visit us during weekends!" "Don't worry, I will. Oh, Dad, how do I apply for a driver's license?" Mom and Dad looked shocked as I left home. I walked straight to the Hinata Sou. Yes. Walked. Seta-san left with the van in a hurry for Toudai. He said he can't wait to report back what had happened. "Keitaro-senpai! Welcome back! I didn't know you'd be back today!" Shinobu-chan was the first person who greeted me. "Yo, everyone's out at this time, even Narusegawa." then it was Kentaro. Felt kinda weird. "Where's Haruka-nee?" "I don't really know. She's probably getting old somewhere." laughed Kentaro. "Brr... I felt a chill. I probably shouldn't have said that." "Keitaro-senpai, must be hungry. Let's eat!" "Uhm... I'm actually fu--" "Uuuggh..." Shinobu looked like she was going to cry-- "I'm actually fueled up to eat! Tabemashou!" After stuffing myself ONCE MORE, I went upstairs to my room. I still have jet lag. I slept quite a while. I still have jet lag. I came back to Japan in the morning and when I woke up, it's night. I couldn't believe I was hungry once again. I walked to the kitchen to check something in the fridge. "Yaawwn." "Ke- KEITARO?!" Narusegawa? "What? Where? Who? KEITARO'S HERE?!" Motoko? "KEI-CHAN!" Kaolla. "Keitaro-niichan!" "Kanako--oof!" Kanako grabbed me from behind. "Eh?! Keitaro." and enter Haruka-nee. "Where's my souvenir?" "Didn't everyone know I arrived?!" "I... I forgot to tell them." said Shinobu. "Where's Kitsune?" "She's traveling overseas." said Narusegawa. "Oh."

Keitaro Urashima is a 19 year-old student, at the start of Love Hina, who is trying to get into Tokyo University.
After failing the entrance exams twice and becoming a second-year ronin, he is kicked out of home by his cheap parents, and goes to his grandmother's hotel, thinking he might be able to stay there. However, he finds out the hard way that his grandmother has turned the hotel into an all-girls dormitory. Through a combination of bad luck and timing, he encounters Naru Narusegawa in the open-air hot springs bath and infuriates her. He then proceeds to land on the bad side of the other dorm residents, before Haruka arrives and metaphorically bails him out. Ultimately he does end up staying at the Hinata House, though the reason and timing varies slightly between the anime and the manga. Keitaro takes promises seriously, and it seems that he made a number of important ones during his childhood. First and foremost was his promise of 15 years ago (age 5) with a little girl he barely remembers that they would get into Tokyo University together one day.
